A Boeing 737 United Airlines flight 1603 was in deep trouble when one of its pilots suffered a heart attack while in mid air on Thursday night. The plane had to make an emergency landing. The plane was on its to Seattle from Houston when it was immediately diverted to Boise, Idaho for the emergency landing.
Paramedics boarded the plane upon its landing and took the pilot to the hospital. There have been no reports on his condition.
The Boeing 737 airliner and its passengers waited at the Boise airport for some time until the airline flew in another pilot from San Francisco.
There are unconfirmed reports that the pilot may have died at St. Alphonsus.
